1.Objective: According to studies, Mulberry leaf extract with anti-viral properties and Yanlikang is benefit to Escherichia coli and salmonella restrain, in order to verify the coordination use efficacy of Mulberry leaf extract and Yanlikang, this clinical application validation experiment was specially carried out on a group of laying hens with infection signals of infectious rhinitis(In convalescent period), Escherichia coli, Salmonella and infectivity bronchitis.
2. Materials: Mulberry leaf extract (DNJ content 0.5%), provided by Hunan Geneham Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
3. Site: In Guangdong XXX Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. (Chicken house: G17, Batch: T2005, Day-old: 196-202) from 12 to 18 October, 2020
4. Methods: 14,000 laying hens with infection signals of infectious rhinitis(In convalescent period), Escherichia coli, Salmonella and infectivity bronchitis were chose in a 7consecutive days feeding trial with addition of DNJ (0.5%) 200g/ton and Yanlikang 500g/ton feeding, to observe and record the production performance indexes of laying hens. The feeding management as per routine management of the chicken house and no other drugs were added during this experiment.

Table 2 results show that:
5.1 7 consecutive days dietary with addition Mulberry leaf extract 200g/ton and Yanlikang 500g/ton Feeding are effective on keeping the livability rate of laying hens, the mortality is 34hens totally for 9days before treatment and drop to 7 hens after treatment
Notes: Synergistic effect of antiviral drug and antibacterial drug is more significant.
5.2 Mulberry leaf extract 200g /ton + Yanlikang 500g / ton feeding can effectively help the sick chicken to recover and restore the laying peak.
It can thus be concluded that: Dietary with mulberry leaf extract 200g/ton + Yanlikang 500g/ ton feeding is benefit to the mixed infection of bacterial disease and viral disease in laying hens effectively, keep a low mortality rate & support laying rate, the combination is worth widely applied.
